The Satisfyer Vibes Petting Hippo is a cute vibrator shaped like a smiling hippopotamus.

The sex toy is a cute, all-pink hippopotamus. Cutesy, you might say? There’s something for everyone.
As for me, I quite like it – its cheerful mug is rather endearing.
Texture and materials
The vibrator’s surface is made of silicone, flexible and really squishy. The hippopotamus’s head, very soft, is particularly malleable and nice to press against the clit.
Powering the Satisfyer Vibes Petting Hippo
The sex toy is rechargeable. Its charger has a proprietary magnetic connector that attaches to two nubs on the sex toy. On the other end, it plugs into a USB port.
Controls and modes
The controls are modelled on those of certain Fun Factory sex toys, such as the Patchy Paul G5 or the Big Boss G5.
The Petting Hippo has three buttons, aligned along its handle. The central button turns the sex toy on or off, while the other two let you navigate between the vibration modes.
The vibrator starts on the third intensity level. From there, you can access six constant modes (two weaker with the top button, and six stronger with the bottom button), and six pattern modes.
Effectiveness of the Satisfyer Vibes Petting Hippo
The Petting Hippo’s snout proves very effective on the clitoris. Without being comparable to an ultra-powerful vibrator, at maximum intensity it gets you off in a few minutes.
During vaginal penetration, its head provides a pleasant pressure against the “G-spot” area. However, this pressure lacks a certain firmness, the sex toy, being all soft, not maintaining its angled shape once inserted. But the vibrations on the G-spot prove redoubtably effective.
