There are two of us maintaining this website. So that you can distinguish one from the other, we have chosen the (very original) pseudonyms: Elle and Lui.

But why did we decide to become sex toy testers? What exactly do we do?
Why test sex toys?
The universe of sex toys holds an infinity of new possibilities for pleasure, whether solo or as a couple.
Some adult toys have made us discover intense, delicious and sometimes surprising sensations. And when you learn about a gadget capable of making you climb the curtains in less than a minute, you want to share the news.
Conversely, we have also had some bad surprises. Vibrators that didn’t vibrate hard enough, a dildo with a strong unpleasant plastic smell, Ben Wa balls with an uncomfortable string… No one was talking about these annoyances. During a chat with mates, a “by the way, my sex toy smells weird, did you have the same problem?”, depending on your circle of friends, can cause an awkward silence.
Websites giving reviews on cosmetics, phones or video games were plentiful. And why not a sex toy review site? That is how Objets de Plaisir was born.
How do our sex toy reviews work?
Shops or brands send us sex toys to test, in exchange for an honest opinion. This opinion can be positive, negative, or mixed, and other testers might have a different view: this is about our experience and our perspective.
Our reviews are influenced only by our personal tastes. A few affiliate links are present, in an attempt to finance the blog’s hosting, but these in no way affect the objectivity of our words.
We test sex toys for pleasure only. And this activity must remain a pleasure: we therefore do not agree to test just anything. We try to select erotic accessories likely to please us or amuse us, and to interest our readers.
No sex toy was mistreated during the tests (or just a little…).

We sell nothing, and are not affiliated with any shop or company. No point asking us for our catalogue or the price of a dildo.
If a sex toy we have reviewed tempts you, we encourage you to click on the link to the shop that sent it to us, which can be found in the review.
We are not looking for new testers. We sometimes suggest to someone to test a product on our behalf, but we prefer to reach out to people we know and trust.
Objets de Plaisir articles
