The Electro Wand Nalone arrives shortly after my review of the Mystim Sizzling Simon. After trying internal e-stim, I wanted to see what the same family of sensations was like on the clitoris, in a cuter, more manageable format that looks almost innocent if you forget about the electric pulses.
The Electro Wand Nalone is a small fuchsia wand that hides its tricks well. It vibrates, of course, but it also has a metal ring around the head that delivers micro electric pulses to erogenous zones.
Because electrostimulation is a curious territory. It’s easy to imagine it’s reserved for well-equipped BDSM enthusiasts, with cables, boxes, clamps and a dungeon atmosphere. In reality, though, some sex toys are designed to make it more accessible and gentler. Not necessarily to cause pain, but to add something else to the vibrations: tingles, contractions—in short, a wider range of sensations.
Can e-stim be just as interesting on the surface, on a zone as sensitive as the clitoris? Does it bring a genuinely new texture of pleasure, or just three little tingles for decoration? The answer is inevitably subjective, but I’ll share my impressions in this review of the Electro Wand Nalone.

Sex toy packaging
The Electro Wand Nalone’s packaging is pretty well thought out. It comes in a sturdy cardboard box, illustrated with pictures of the toy, which is properly nestled inside.
Inside, you’ll find the Electro Wand, its charging cable, its storage pouch and its user manual.
Looks of the Electro Wand Nalone
The Electro Wand Nalone has the head of a karaoke microphone for a sleepover that’s off limits to minors. Fuchsia pink, almost Barbie-esque, it’s the kind of object you could imagine in the hands of a pop star wearing a sequinned bodysuit—except that here, the performance takes place between the thighs rather than on stage.
The round head is relatively small for a wand, measuring around 4 centimetres in diameter. On it is a metal ring, which delivers the electric pulses.
Part of its handle is also covered by a metal plate, though that’s purely decorative.
Texture and materials
The surface of the Electro Wand Nalone combines soft silicone and metal plates. Its head and handle are rigid, but its neck is flexible.
Power
The Electro Wand Nalone is USB rechargeable. The supplied cable plugs into a small port at the base of the sex toy, with an opening that closes around the connector. It’s also waterproof, which makes cleaning much easier and means you can use it in the shower or bath.
A full charge takes about three hours, with a claimed battery life of two and a half hours. In practice, I had no battery issues.
Controls and modes
The Electro Wand Nalone has four buttons on its handle. The toy has several functions: head vibrations, handle vibrations and e-stim.
The head has seven vibration modes, with continuous speeds and pulsing patterns. The e-stim can work at the same time and is adjusted independently, with three intensity levels.
The handle also offers seven vibration modes. Designed to be reversible, the sex toy can theoretically be inserted from this end. In practice, given its slightly angular shape, the metal plate and how close it is to the controls, I don’t see much point in it. Still, this bonus option doesn’t get in the way.
Most importantly, the handle doesn’t deliver electric shocks: a very good thing, as it means you won’t accidentally zap your fingers, which aren’t exactly the target area for e-stim!
Using the Electro Wand Nalone
I started by using the Electro Wand Nalone as a classic clitoral vibrator, without e-stim.
Its head is small and easy to position on the clitoris. The vibrations aren’t the deepest or most powerful I’ve tried in a wand, but they’re more than enough to build arousal and bring me to orgasm without much effort.
I much prefer the continuous speeds to the pre-programmed patterns. One minor drawback is the way you cycle through them: those pulsing patterns come straight after the highest vibration level. It’s the perfect way to completely break the rhythm if you happen to click one time too many.
Next, I turned on the e-stim. I used water-based lubricant to help it glide more smoothly, and also to improve electrical conductivity.
Even at the first few levels, the sensation is quite different from a classic wand. The vibrations provide a steady base, while the e-stim adds little, very targeted tingles, as if the toy were nibbling at the area. It isn’t painful; it’s more like a tension that stings and wakes up the clitoris. The body responds differently, making the build-up much more intense.
The whole point with this toy is to find your own balance. Turning the e-stim up to full straight away isn’t necessarily the best choice; it all depends on your sensitivities and what you’re in the mood for. On the clitoris, too high an electrical intensity can quickly take you by surprise or become too biting if you’re not used to it.
The perfect balance is to combine maximum vibration intensity with light to moderate e-stim. In this configuration, it’s a real success: the vibrations provide the backdrop, and the e-stim adds little electric jolts on top. Your genitals shiver without tensing up, arousal shoots up, and it creates a very direct build-up to an intense, punchy orgasm.
Verdict on the Electro Wand Nalone
If you prefer raw power for instant gratification, you’re better off choosing a classic wand. The Nalone Electro Wand is a toy that takes a little getting used to, but it’s well worth the effort. Despite room for improvement in how it cycles through the speeds, it delivers on its promise: a genuinely new way to stimulate the clitoris.
Electrostimulation does require you to find your own level, but once you’ve found that sweet spot, the magic happens. That little electric bite completely changes the game, leading to orgasms that are intense and punchy. It’s an excellent introduction to e-stim, ideal for discovering this type of sensation without having to use intimidating equipment.
