As it does every year, Pornhub has published its 2018 year in review. So, what’s worth noting among the 2018 porn search statistics?
Phenomenal figures for Pornhub
You watch porn? Don’t worry, the numbers prove it, you’re not alone.
In 2018, Pornhub alone tallied more than 33.5 billion visits, with an average of 92 million visits per day. How many litres of sperm and pre-ejaculate were deposited in front of its videos? How many wrist cramps? The statistics don’t say.
What we do know, however, is that even with plenty of motivation and masturbatory enthusiasm, you’ll never be able to watch all of Pornhub. In fact, as of now, the site totals 1 million hours, that is 115 years of videos.
Top porn searches of 2018
In 2018, the three most searched terms on Pornhub are “lesbian”, “hentai” and “MILF”. Nothing new on that front, they’re exactly the same as in 2017.
“Step mom” remains in fourth position. However, sexual attraction to the in-laws has dropped: “step sister” has completely fallen out of the top 25.
An unexpected keyword has climbed to fifteenth position in the top porn searches of 2018: “Fortnite”. The game targets mainly teenagers, and its sexiness potential is far from obvious. But there’s something for every taste, and Rule 34 of the internet has no exceptions. However, the fact that “Fortnite” managed to overtake “big tits”, “creampie” and “gangbang” on Pornhub is still surprising.
Porn actresses at the top of searches
In 2018, the most searched porn star on Pornhub is Stormy Daniels, no doubt due to her lawsuit against Donald Trump. No surprise: Americans take a keen interest in everything related to their president, going so far as to make them into sex toys.
In second and third position come actresses Mia Khalifa and Riley Reid, who haven’t moved much in the searches since 2017, followed by Lana Rhoades, who shot up in 2018.
On the celebrity side, it’s still Stormy Daniels who takes the top spot. Second, Kim Kardashian. And yet, when you look at the results associated with the latter, it’s hard to find her sex tape in the mix! Between slideshows of soft magazine covers, porn videos with lookalikes, and even the sex tape of a couple of raccoons, you get lost.
Films and TV series that are top picks in the bedroom
On the films and TV series side, the most searched character on Pornhub in 2018 is Harley Quinn, as the previous year.
Second place, Elastigirl. And third… The Incredibles, so Elastigirl again.
Next comes Star Wars, with a peak on May the Fourth, and Princess Leia still at the top of the fantasies of Force users.
And on the video games side? No surprise, it’s Bowsette who climbs to the top of porn searches in 2018.
