To get ready for Halloween, I wanted to show you some scary erotic novels. So I went through, one by one, the classic themes of horror novels to unearth their erotic versions. Let’s start with erotic novels featuring the undead.
I admit I haven’t read any of these works. But if the prospect of zombie werewolves copulating with vampires dressed as clowns tickles your libido, you may well find a hit in this selection.
Erotic novels and the undead: the skeletons
In all manner of films and video games, after a bit of necromancy, skeletons manage just fine to parade around in army formation and fight with swords. And this, despite having no tendons or muscles to keep their bones together. Magic does the trick.
The plot of the erotic novel “My Skeleton Lover From Beyond The Grave” (“My Skeleton Lover From Beyond The Grave”) ?
Once reanimated, a well-meaning skeleton far prefers making love to making war. On this point, we can only understand him. And his girlfriend, still very much alive, is very keen to celebrate their reunion in bed.
Despite his little physical problem, I can’t see why he’d go without. He no longer has a penis, admittedly, but he knows how to make very good use of his bony fingers.
By the way, let’s give a very loud round of applause for the cover illustration: the perspective is… um… almost believable.
Erotic novels and the undead: the vampires
From Interview with the Vampire to True Blood, as one can imagine, vampires are heartthrobs with a slightly unhealthy sex life. There’s no shortage of erotic books about them.
Three samples, at random from an immense selection:
- “Diary of the Vampire” (“Diary of the Vampire”):
- “Vampire love slave” (“Vampire love slave”):
- And finally, “Vampire porn queen” (“Vampire porn queen”):
Erotic novels and the undead: the mummies
With all their bandages and their dried-out faces, mummies manage to be so repulsive that they hardly inspire any sexual thoughts.
I do say “almost”, because there is still “Taken by a Mummy”, an erotic book in which a girl sleeps with Ramses’ mummy.
The literary eroticism of ghosts
The erotic ghost stories are always a bit the same thing. A ghost who misses the pleasures of the flesh a little, a human who has nothing against ghostly frolics, and weird physical contact based on come here, I’ll go through you and give you the chills, or possession.
Add to that a killer you have to take revenge on, like in a classic ghost story, and the trick is done, you even have suspense. In short, Ghost in a porn version.
A selection of a few erotic novels about ghosts, chosen from a multitude of specimens:
- “Passion’s Ghost” (“Passion’s Ghost”):
- “Haunted Halloween” (“Haunted Halloween”):
- “Ghostly Pleasures” (“Ghostly Pleasures”):
Erotic novels and the undead: the headless horseman
The Headless Horseman can’t do cunnilingus, which is very frustrating. But he can take you on a romantic horse ride, and he never makes faces. That’s already not bad.
And there’s a choice. You can opt for a modern version, with “Ravished By The Headless Horseman” (“Ravished By The Headless Horseman”).
Or, choose a period version, with “Seduction in Sleepy Hollow” (“Seduction in Sleepy Hollow”).
Erotic novels and the undead: the zombies
Zombies, in principle, are gross. They’re full of rotting flesh, they lose pieces, and they’re contagious. And often, to top it all off, they’re depressing, because inevitably, when three quarters of humanity have died, well, it’s sad.
The erotic potential of these putrefied undead therefore seemed corrupted. But despite all that, the zombie sex toys are successful. The brand Monster Cocks, a collection halfway between sex and horror designed by the creators of RealDoll (the famous love dolls), has even released a strikingly realistic model. And erotic stories about zombies abound.
- “Wesley and the Sex Zombies” (“Wesley and the Sex Zombies”):
- “Undead desires” (“Undead desires”):
- “Help! I’m Being Chased by a Zombie on Halloween” (“Help! I’m Being Chased by a Zombie on Halloween”). That said, I’m not sure that this last book actually contains any real putrefied undead.
Bonus: Fifty Shades of Decay
The Rule 34 , “if it exists, there is porn of it”, is no longer enough. We’ll have to institute a new internet rule. If it exists, there are Fifty Shades of it.
Indeed, since the sales success of “Fifty Shades of Grey”, the fifty shades have been everywhere. You can find fifty shades of something in every corner of the internet.
Hold on: there’s not just one, but two erotic books titled “Fifty Shades of Decay”. That is to say, if you translate it, it means “Fifty Shades of Decomposition”, which is decidedly less classy, let’s admit.
- The first, by Eve Greene:
- And the second, by Angelic Knight Press and Benjamin Kane Ethridge:
Aside from their title and their theme centred on sex with zombies, these two works have nothing to do with each other. The first is a parody, the other is more serious.
If you are desperately in search of one of these titles, they all come from the Erotica section of Amazon, so just search for their names to find them.
And if you want to read the continuation of this selection of Halloween erotic novels, it is devoted to frightening and monstrous creatures, and you can find it here.
