- The batteries: the Cry Baby 2 is a modern sex toy. So why does it come with batteries, and, what’s more, some uncommon batteries ? If a Cry Baby 3 sees the light of day, let it be rechargeable!
- It is quiet, but not completely quiet, and therefore unusable in a place that is genuinely too quiet (a quiet dinner, a cinema, ..)
Compared with the Lyla 2 by Lelo
What it’s best at:
- A more suitable remote for a vibrating egg: clearer, simpler, and above all more discreet. The Lyla 2 remote is quite distracting, but that doesn’t fit the kind of use you’re supposed to put it to. With the Cry Baby 2, you have a device that genuinely lets you control the vibrations at a distance without being spotted.
- As a bonus, the remote has an enormous range.
What it’s not so good at:
- A a very annoying power setup, although it’s cheaper to buy, the Cry Baby 2 will quickly have to make up the difference through battery consumption… Batteries you need to remember to buy regularly just for it.

In summary, apart from its batteries, I like pretty much all the features of the Love to Love Cry Baby 2. Its phenomenal range, its discreet, clear and simple remote, its rather powerful vibrations…␊␊Despite its not-at-all-practical power supply, I prefer it to Lelo Lyla 2.
