Why the Soraya? For quite some time, the Lelo Soraya had been intriguing us with its “futuristic” look, straight out of an episode of Star Trek!
And, after all, why not? We already owned two Billy and a Gigi from Lelo, as well as the Magic Wand by Hitachi. Our first rabbit was meant to be radically different…
Here is the Lelo Soraya review.
Sex toy packaging
As usual with Lelo, the packaging is very well finished.
The inside of the box is custom-moulded to the shape of the Soraya, the whole thing covered in black velvet…. In short, it’s very classy.
True to form, Lelo always provides a black satin case, the charger, a sachet of lubricant and a warranty registration card.
The Lelo Soraya’s look
The design recreates the shape of a vibrator intended for stimulating the G-spot, to which is attached the famous clitoral tip.
Its dimensions:
- Total length: 22 centimetres.
- Vaginal tip: 12.5 cm in length, 2.5 cm in width and 3.5 cm in height.
- Clitoral tip: 6.5 cm in length and 2 cm in diameter.
- Weight: 175 grams.
Texture and materials
As with many products in the series Insignia, we find the silicone to be medical and hypoallergenic, as well as ABS for the sides and the handle of the toy. It is all softness, no unsightly roughness in sight…
Charging the Lelo Soraya
The vibrator is rechargeable. Its charger is very discreet, the transformer being hardly any bigger than a simple plug. At the other end, a connector to fit into the Soraya’s handle.

The manufacturer’s stated charging time is two hours, for four hours of use.
The Lelo Soraya’s controls
The control interface has 3 buttons :
- “+”: Switch on and increase vibrations,
- “- “: Reduce vibrations and turn off,
- “()”: Select a vibration mode, from 8 modes.
Handling the Lelo Soraya
The handling is very intuitive. When holding the toy by its handle, the thumb naturally rests on the control interface, and as a result it is very comfortable to use.
Effectiveness of the Lelo Soraya
The effectiveness of the Soraya is formidable… The vibrations are far superior to those of our other sex toys… apart from the Magic Wand, of course!
The vaginal tip can easily be used for initial stimulation, thus facilitating insertion of the Soraya, which nevertheless has quite substantial dimensions…
Madame’s hands-on experience
First, with the vaginal tip, I stimulate the clitoris to allow for faster penetration, then I use theclitoral tip by moving it around in every direction with my fingers.
As the clitoral tip is very flexible, I tested with both tips in the vagina, which provides a double ‘internal’ stimulation. A penetration stimulating the point G, as well as stimulation of the ‘internal’ part of the clitoris. And then… guaranteed effect!!!
The change in vibrations for my part is not very practical. Changing it while masturbating implies holding the clitoral tip in the desired position while trying to change the vibratory mode… So for my part, a single continuous vibration is more than enough for me. But it remains subjective, and everyone will appreciate it according to their tastes…
Conclusion on the Lelo Soraya
The positive points:
- the quality finish (it’s LELO)
- The power of the vibrations
- Thebattery life
- The lightness
- The handling
The negative points:
- If you really have to find one, then I’d say, the vibration control (central button), in “full action”…
- The price (€159.00, excluding the current 20% discount on the manufacturer’s website) does not put this sextoy within everyone’s budget (no pun intended…), especially as this toy is made in China….
So in the end, with the Soraya, LELO opens the door to new sensations, so very pleasant…
Would I recommend this product? Well… Yes, and without any hesitation.
