Red Light Center is a virtual multiplayer universe for adults, think Second Life. Like the latter, users can create and sell 3D objects to other players.
We tried this game as part of our VStroker review. So we decided to introduce it to you.
The in-game currency, the ray, is bought with real money. You can also earn it by doing business with other players or by being active in the game, for example by rating other users’ profiles.
Character creation and getting started
In Red Light Center, you can play as a man or a woman (possibly transgender). But also a “furry”, a sort of big housecat/fox of human size that walks on two legs and wears clothes.
Much more immersive than 3D Sexvilla, Red Light Center involves a certain amount of roleplay and a dose of imagination.
It mainly focuses on meeting people. Indeed, you start the game on a dance floor where you can flirt with other new sign-ups. However, you only get access to the sexual features if you subscribe to the “VIP” subscription, which costs $20 per month (about 15 euros).
Sexual relations in Red Light Center
Sexual relations constitute an interaction between two players. The avatars, once completely naked, are anatomically “realistic”. Or at least, as realistic as a cartooned character can be… And the sexual practices are animated in a rather detailed way (a few screenshots here, and videos on the game’s Youporn channel).
The two players choose, from a menu, a position or action they wish to perform, and then see their avatar carry out that action with their partner’s avatar.
Without a subscription, you can always dance and get a virtual massage. Yes yes, very useful, if you’re suffering from virtual muscle aches…
