We have tested a glass variant of the classic geisha balls : the “Jade eggs” or “Yoni eggs. It is a pair of glass eggs, worn in the vagina to tone the pelvic floor.
The Jade eggs we tried are the Crystal Eggs, from the brand NS Novelties.
Here is our review of the Crystal Eggs, from NS Novelties.
Packaging
The Crystal Eggs come in a cardboard box, which I threw away after unboxing. For storage, a small satin pouch is included.
The sex toy
Appearance
When we open the box, we find two transparent pink glass objects, shaped halfway between a teardrop and an egg. It reminds me a little of beads for decorating aquariums.
It’s not the most beautiful thing in the world, but it’s not ugly either.

Each of the “eggs” is 3 centimetres in diameter and 4.5 cm long.
Texture and material
The Crystal Eggs are made of borosilicate glass, a type of glass which, according to Wikipedia, is resistant to thermal shock and cleaning agents.
So, in principle, you can put them in the dishwasher without any problem. Even though, in practice, cleaning them with water and soap does the job just as well.

As for the texture, it’s hard and smooth. Normal, for glass.
Use
You can slide either one or two eggs into the vagina.
Their surface is very smooth : they slide in quite easily, even without lubricant. I found it nice to rinse the Crystal Eggs with cold water beforehand, to play with the temperature.
I was a bit worried that the whole thing might come out while walking and smash on the floor. No problem on that front, whether I wore one or two, the eggs stayed put.
As for the sensations while wearing the Crystal Eggs, alas not much to report. I can feel their presence, but that’s all. I don’t get the impression that they move like Geisha balls.
With two eggs, no noise, not when walking or bouncing. Apparently, the eggs don’t clink against each other, which seems to confirm that hypothesis.

To remove them, it’s a bit of a struggle, because there’s no no string. Nothing dramatic, but let’s say it’s best to avoid it if you’re deathly afraid of getting something stuck in your pussy. Even though in practice, it’s not really likely to happen.
Conclusion on the Crystal Eggs
I won’t get into the toy’s benefits in terms of pelvic floor muscle toning.
I assume that the weight of the Crystal Eggs must work the pelvic muscles. But, having only worn them a few times (long enough to know enough about them to write this review), I can’t really draw any conclusions about long-term use.
In any case, they aren’t objects that provide thrilling sensations. In fact, I wouldn’t really call them sex toys. However, as “sporting” accessories, there’s no risk in trying.
