The Womanizer brand has released yet another new suction vibrator: the Womanizer Liberty. It positions itself as a middle ground between the “pocket” Womanizer 2 Go or Starlet models and standard-sized models.
Despite its ups and downs, the brand has made great progress since its early creations, particularly in terms of design. Despite the swarm of Womanizers and Womanizer-like toys crammed into my sex toy cupboard, curiosity therefore prompted me to test the Liberty.
Here is my review of the Womanizer Liberty.
Packaging
The packaging for the Womanizer Liberty, which is made of thick cardboard and plastic, lets you see the sex toy before opening.
Inside, a fabric case, a replacement tip for the sex toy, and its charging cable.
The sex toy
Appearance
Small, the Womanizer Liberty has an important feature for a travel vibrator: a lid. It adheres to the main part of the sex toy thanks to magnets, which are not visible, and thus keeps the controls and tip protected.
Glossy on the outside, white on the inside, it is quite pretty, which, for a Womanizer, is worth noting! It comes in four colours: blue, burgundy, pink and purple.
Texture and materials
The body of the sex toy is made of rigid plastic, while its tip is made of silicone, soft and cushiony.
On unboxing, a factory smell, not very appealing. But it was gone after the first wash, and never came back. It therefore did not come from the sex toy.
Power supply
The Womanizer Liberty is recharged using a cable fitted with a magnetic tip, which attaches to two “contacts” on the sex toy’s handle. On the other side, this power cord plugs into a USB port.
Use
Controls and modes
The controls on the Womanizer Liberty are simple and well done. There are only two buttons: a “+” and a “-“.
- To turn the sex toy on or off: a long press on the “+”.
- To vary the intensity of the vibrations, of course: the “+” and “-” buttons. There is no faff: once the maximum level is reached, if you keep pressing the “+” button, nothing happens.
The vibrations have 6 intensity levels, and no “fancy” mode, which is just as well.

The principle
The principle of use is the same for all suction vibrators, and I have mentioned it several times on this blog.
A brief summary for those who have just arrived here. The tip is applied to the clitoris and encloses it, simultaneously delivering pulses and a light suction.
Effectiveness
My clit is quite demanding when it comes to Womanizer-like toys. Indeed, with a device of this kind, the pulses really need to be very powerful for me to reach orgasm reliably. For example, while the Womanizer Premium consistently works on me, the Classic, by contrast, is far from flawless.
And with the Womanizer Liberty, same story. I feel that it still lacks one or two intensity levels to my taste. Which means that, depending on the moment:
- Either I get an orgasm, but with time to say “Pff! It takes too long!” before getting there. In short, with a certain sensation of frustration during use.
- Or I get to the edge of orgasm without reaching it, and I put the sex toy down while insulting it.
In short, the Womanizer Liberty is not a vibrator made for me.
However, its pulses travel deep and provide quite intense sensations. So, I think it will make most clits happy. At any rate, for all those who are more responsive to suction than mine.

Conclusion on the Womanizer Liberty
The good points:
- Practical format for travel.
- Well-designed controls.
The bad points:
- Not powerful enough to my taste.
Note finale du test
Les plus
- Practical travel format
- Well-designed controls
Les moins
- Lack of power
To my taste, the Womanizer Liberty would really need one or two extra levels of power. It gives me pleasant sensations, but not always intense enough to lead to orgasm, which is quite frustrating. In short: it is not a sex toy that suits me.
Nevertheless, it would seem that I am quite unresponsive to the effects of suction vibrators, compared to the average person with a cunt, in any case. And given the enthusiasm generated by all previous models, many of which are less powerful, I presume that many will not share my opinion.
In its favour, well-designed controls, a nice look, and a practical format, which allows it to be carried even without its case.
