The online shop Kisskiss.ch sent us the Ceylor Aphrodisia lubricant.
You can’t really write a novel about a lubricant. Well, it does lubricate, but I imagine you suspected as much to some extent…
But no matter how much I looked, I couldn’t see any particular reason to link this lubricant with another product. So I’ll go with an express review.
Composition of the Ceylor Aphrodisia lubricant
Ceylor Aphrodisia is a water-based lubricant. It is therefore compatible with condoms and sex toys.
It contains no oil, no fat, no paraben (a carcinogenic substance used as a preservative in 80% of hygiene and toiletry products), no solvents, and no dyes.
Taste and odour
The scent of the Ceylor Aphrodisia lubricant is quite original, and more subtle than the classic fruity aromas often found in lubricants.
The taste isn’t very food-like (rather floral), but it isn’t nasty for all that. I wouldn’t go as far as spreading it on a slice of bread, but on the body, it is completely fine, it comes close to the scent left behind by a moisturising cream.
It says on the packaging that the scent is “aphrodisiac”, that said, even though I find that this product smells very good, I wasn’t particularly overcome by sudden urges after sticking my nose to it.
But as for the aphrodisiac side, I am certain you can count on your partner and the atmosphere you create.
Appearance and texture of the lubricant
The product is colourless and transparent.
It stays quite well where it is put. After pouring a drop onto the back of my hand, I shook it in every direction to get an idea of the product’s viscosity: the drop hardly spread at all.
Quantity / price
A bottle costs around 13 euros. The price is therefore not exorbitant, but for a fairly low volume: only 50 millilitres.
Bottle
The product comes in a nice glass bottle, with a tip that you press to release a precise amount of product, which makes dosing easier.
With its perfume vial look, compared with an ordinary lubricant, it looks much more elegant on the bedside table!
Conclusion on the Ceylor Aphrodisia lubricant
What we like about the Ceylor Aphrodisia lubricant:
- Its classy presentation, with its nice bottle.
- Its scent, pleasant and out of the ordinary.
- The fact that its formula is fairly clean.
The only drawback:
- The small size of its bottle.
