Vibro Fun Factory Jazzie

Fun Factory Jazzie: budget vibrator review

le

The Fun Factory Jazzie is the third vibrator in the German brand’s “budget” series. It is the brother of the Jam and the Joupie, two sextoys we also tested a while ago.

Fun Factory Jazzie vibrator

It is a vibrator under thirty euros. But what do you get for that price? To find out, we tested the Fun Factory Jazzie. Here is our review.

Sextoy packaging

The packaging is a small disposable box made of thin cardboard. No accessories are included. However, on this point, the Jazzie stands on equal footing with its more expensive cousins from the same brand: the Fun Factory brand is stingy about cases.

The look of the Fun Factoy Jazzie

Black with a mini white handle, the Jazzie has a bumpy but straight shape. It is rather slim (2.5 cm in diameter), with a rounded tip at its end.

It is fairly plain, but although I usually like clean looks, I find it rather ugly.

Texture and materials

The Jazzie is rigid, with a soft pure-silicone coating that conceals a hard part housing the battery compartment and the motor.

Power supply for the Fun Factory Jazzie

The Joupie is powered by two AA batteries. In short, the most common batteries. This is a power source that is not very eco-friendly, not very practical, and backward.

OK, it’s a cheap sextoy, but a decent battery is not that expensive to manufacture, and that’s not asking too much! As far as I know, within the same price range, the brand Goliate, for example, pulls it off without a hitch.

In addition, same flaw as the two other models in the range regarding the battery compartment. In fact, it opens by turning the base of the sextoy, and, precisely, the vibrator switches on and off by turning this base. In short, you repeatedly find yourself opening the battery compartment when you wanted to switch the vibrator on.

On the good side, it is waterproof. It can therefore be cleaned easily, and you can use it in the bath or in the shower.

Controls and modes

Like the Jam and the Joupie, the Jazzie offers no choice of intensity or type of vibrations. There is only one decision to make: switch it on (at the risk of its batteries tumbling to the floor), or switch it off?

Effectiveness of the Fun Factory Jazzie

Meh, so-so. Admittedly, you may get an orgasm following a merciless struggle between the Jazzie and your clitoris.

But it has nothing comparable to ultra-powerful clitoral vibrators that make you climb the walls in less time than it takes to say it. Nor even with vibrators with decent vibrations that will give you a delicious orgasm in a few minutes, like the Patchy Paul, from the same brand. It’s just so-so. Having to work hard to have an orgasm with a vibrator is tedious, and that’s not what you expect from a good sextoy.

You can also use the Fun Factory Jazzie for vaginal penetration. It inserts easily, thanks to its small diameter. But that is about its only plus point. Its straight shape is not of great interest, it does not stimulate the G-spot, and its texture is nothing remarkable.

Conclusion on the Fun Factory Jazzie vibrator

The good points:

  • The Jazzie is made of pure silicone.
  • It is waterproof.
  • It costs less than 30 euros.

The bad points:

  • You cannot vary the intensity of its vibrations.
  • Its vibrations are not powerful enough.
  • Its straight shape and texture are not interesting at all.
  • When you switch it on, if you turn it a bit too hard, the battery compartment opens.

Note finale du test

Vibro Fun Factory Jazzie
2 .8 / 10

Les plus

  • Budget price
  • Silicone

Les moins

  • Low-power vibrations
  • No settings
  • Risk of accidentally opening the battery compartment

Making a low-cost sextoy is a good idea. But Fun Factory could have done better. Either the brand did not bother, or, not wanting to compete with its more expensive vibrators, it chose to severely limit its budget models. I lean towards the second hypothesis.

As a result, the Fun Factory Jazzie is a very “so-so” sextoy. It has no real appeal. Admittedly, none of its features is particularly dreadful… for a 2010 sextoy, maybe. But in 2019, a vibrator with battery power, non-adjustable vibrations that are not that powerful, is outdated.

However, even within a thirty-euro budget, you can get much better than that. For example, the MyPleasure by Goliate is a much more satisfying alternative, with a rechargeable battery, eight vibration modes, and above all, powerful enough vibrations and a shape suited to G-spot stimulation.
