We have had the chance to test the We Vibe Touch vibrator.
It is the third sex toy from the Canadian brand We Vibe to enter our sex toy box. We were very pleased with the previous two, the We Vibe III and the Tango, and we were able to appreciate their excellent quality.
The Touch, a small rechargeable clitoral vibrator, rivals the Tango with its 8 vibration modes.
But, although these two toys share some characteristics, they are far from identical. Let’s see what brings them together and what sets them apart.
The Look of the We Vibe Touch
The We Vibe Touch has a harmonious and soft shape. At first glance, depending on the angle you look at it from, it reminds us of a leaf, a frog or a marmot.
This vibrator is 10 cm long, about 4 cm wide and 2.5 cm thick.
You will appreciate its “figure-of-eight” shape, which allows it to be held comfortably in the palm of the hand. Right now, as I am writing this article, it is sitting next to my computer mouse, and several times now I have automatically mixed it up with the mouse and wondered why the cursor is not moving.
The model I tested is turquoise. It is also available in magenta and purple.
Material and Texture
Like the other sex toys from the We Vibe brand (notably the We Vibe 3 and the Tango), the Touch is made from medical-grade silicone.
It therefore contains no phthalates (toxic) or latex (watch out for allergies).
And be careful to store it only with its mates, the silicone sex toys, because plastic materials with different chemical compositions can sometimes react with each other, and the result of such a sex toy fight is never very glorious for the two fighters, however brave they may be.
Unlike the Tango, the We Vibe Touch is made from soft silicone.
Its base is not flexible, because it contains the motor, the battery, etc., in short, everything that allows the device to vibrate, but its “snout” (its tip, the part that will come into the most contact with the clitoris), which contains nothing, is.
So, as you can see in the photos, you can tilt the beast’s snout more or less by pressing on it.
I may consider removing from this blog’s presentation the “No sex toy has been mistreated during the tests”… Or adding an exception for snout squashes.
In any case, a fine and soft tip for a clitoral vibrator is a good sign…
Charging the We Vibe Touch
The Touch’s charger is the same as the Tango’s. It is a sort of half-ball, with two small magnetised metal contacts on its flat face. This half-ball is connected to a power adapter.
The ball attaches against the flat face of the Tango, fitting the two small complementary nubs into the charger’s contacts. Thus, no screws or power plug, which makes the device waterproof. As with the Tango, you can wash it without hesitation.
But I would nevertheless recommend avoiding leaving the We Vibe Touch fully immersed in water for too long.
Indeed, its casing is not designed as a single unit. Although its components are firmly assembled, without gaps or flaws, over time water may end up seeping into the side that plugs into the charger, and thus damage the circuits.
Controls of the We Vibe Touch
Getting started
Like the Tango, the Touch is turned on by pressing a round button, in the centre of its flat side.
This is the only and unique button on the toy. It is also used to select the desired vibration mode.
Vibrations
Like the Tango, the Touch has eight vibration modes.
The first four modes are rather “classic”: the sex toy vibrates regularly. The first mode is the gentlest, then the intensity gradually increases, up to the fourth, which is in no way inferior to larger vibrators.
Then, there are four more “whimsical” modes:
- The fifth alternates a series of slow, regular pulses (9 if I counted right) with a series of very rapid regular pulses (fearing a wrist cramp, I gave up on counting those).
- The sixth gradually and regularly increases, then decreases the intensity of the vibrations. It allows pleasure to build up gradually, in waves, and is very pleasant to start with.
- The seventh consists of regular, rather rapid pulses.
- The eighth, finally, is similar to the “Cha cha” mode of the We Vibe 3: two long pulses, then three short pulses, which also loops the number 7 in Morse.
The We Vibe Touch’s vibrations are quieter than the Tango’s. This is probably due to the softer texture of the Touch’s casing, which allows it to dampen them better.
Gadgets
Like the Tango, the Touch is equipped with an LED that blinks in time with the vibrations, under the button that turns it on. The button in question being dark green, the LED appears less bright. Which is why there is no photo, but it can be seen very well in the dark.
Using the We Vibe Touch
Solo use
The Touch is very pleasant for clitoral use.
Even more pleasant than the Tango, because, although its vibrations are just as powerful, its soft texture allows it to be used for longer (I have already said it, a clitoris is sensitive!), and thus to orgasm several times. And also to vary the pressures and the areas of the toy (which have a more or less soft texture depending on the spot) applied to the clitoris.
Like the Tango, it is too small for vaginal use.
Use with a partner
As with the Tango, the small size of the We Vibe Touch allows it to slip unobtrusively into partnered sex, and to provide a little extra that is measured in a few orgasms.
In addition, its curved shape allows it to be easily held against the clitoris, without having to “aim”, which allows greater freedom of movement and avoids having to focus your attention on keeping the vibrator in place.
Conclusion on the We Vibe Touch
The We Vibe Touch is a pleasant little clitoral vibrator, very effective despite its small size, making it easy to carry.

If I had to choose between the Tango and the Touch, which are similar in many respects (identical charger, same vibration modes, same controls, similar sizes), I have a preference for the Touch, because of its soft texture and its ergonomic shape. Thanks to these two features, it is more manoeuvrable and can be used at will.
But the Tango did put up a good fight after all. And, in any case, since I did not have to choose, both were adopted.
