A bit late for Halloween, we tested a vampire vampire : the Tantus Vamp. . Now, even if that’s what its name might suggest, I’d be exaggerating if I told you that the Tantus Vamp evokes Count Dracula the hunk at first glance. In fact, it’s simply a dildo very pale, realistic. Tantus specifies in its description that the sex toy glows in the sun, which earned the Vamp the reputation of Twilight dildo… But in practice, it doesn’t sparkle all that much. For my part, being unmoved by the charms of pale Edward, I shall therefore proclaim that if this contraption is to represent a vampiric phallus, it will be Spike’s from Buffy.
Vampiric or not, the Tantus Vamp is a flat-based silicone dildo in a flat-based silicone dildo in a ‘realistic’ shape. It therefore seemed to have potential. Here’s the review, thanks to the shop Espace Libido.

The Vamp looks like a long, straight and extremely pale penis, closer to off-white than flesh-coloured. It features a good number of raised details representing the veins and skin folds, in a stylised yet still recognisable way. Texture and material: a pure silicone dildo
As always, Tantus goes for pure silicone. No weird smell, nor any health risk.<br><br>The Tantus Vamp is soft and flexible. It isn’t as “squishy” as an erect penis, but its surface deforms quite well when pressed. It is noticeably softer than a Fleshjack, for example.
Unlike the Max O2, which is softer (skin-like) on the shaft, the Vamp is entirely smooth, from the base to the glans. The good side of that is that it glides well. The bad side is that it attracts dust and hair at a phenomenal rate, so it regularly needs a rinse.

If the Tantus Vamp resembles a penis, that’s not just a visual thing. During penetration, the sensations, too, are very ‘realistic’. I think there are two reasons for that: the shape of its glans, which closely mimics that of a penis, and its soft, yielding texture.

In use, I wouldn’t go so far as to mistake the thing for a ‘real’ cock, although it comes close. But it’s still a wee bit firmer, and, of course, there’s no warmth. Once the sex toy has been properly slathered with lubricant, you’re set for a good while without needing to reapply. The smooth surface doesn’t need much to stay slippery.

The Tantus Vamp is still quite… sizeable. Its entry through the back door is therefore best reserved for those who have, at the very least, some experience with anal penetration anal sex with the Tantus Vamp, same story. Its ‘realism’ is felt, perhaps even more so. The ‘glans’ is particularly ‘convincing’ as it penetrates the anus.

Conclusion on the Tantus Vamp
Pros:
- Its ‘realistic’ look, while remaining stylised.
- Its soft texture and glans, which give sensations very close to those you get with a penis.
- It’s made of pure silicone.
- Its price: less than 40 euros for a good-quality dildo, that’s very reasonable.
Cons:
- Nothing to report, except its annoying tendency to attract hair and dust.
A stylised pale cock look, a completely ‘soft’ texture that almost gives the impression of dealing with a real flesh and bone, and a safe material for the body. The Tantus Vamp is a fairly simple dildo, but almost faultless.
