The Velv’Or brand sent us the Manhood Cum Lube, a product that acts both as a lubricant and as fake semen.
We’d already tested a lotion that imitates semen, Rends’ “100 Shots! Bukkake Sperm”. A fake semen with a fairly realistic appearance and texture, and a faintly banana-like smell.
I recently came across the bottle again, three-quarters full and past its expiry date… After all, we don’t need fake semen every day… And I accidentally let it smash on the floor. At the time, although the mishap gave me the chance to gaze at the biggest puddle of (fake) semen I’d ever seen in my life, I was completely dismayed. I’d literally just shattered all hope of playing with fake semen again. Well, on the other hand, it had expired…
Fortunately, Velv’Or came to our rescue with its Manhood Cum Lube. Here’s our test of this hybrid: half lubricant, half fake semen.
The bottle
The bottle holds 150 millilitres and is opaque, in a vaguely silvery grey.
A nice touch: it comes as a spray, which makes it easier to dispense the amount of product you want without spilling it everywhere.
Appearance and texture
Not bad, not bad… For a lubricant that’s supposed to look like semen, Manhood Cum Lube is pretty convincing. It’s whitish and translucent, with a texture you could imagine gushing out of a penis, neither too runny nor too thick.
Visually, it’s a successful fake semen.
Taste and smell
I expected a product that smelled like semen, and I admit I was worried I might find it a bit repulsive if the smell was too realistic… Since Cum Lube is sold as a lubricant, I had to try it as one. And I was apprehensive about spreading a substance that was in every way like semen, cold and straight from a bottle, over—and inside—my intimate bits.
It wasn’t an issue, since Manhood Cum Lube has a floral fragrance. I’m both relieved and a little disappointed: today won’t be the day I try virtual bukkake with Odorama. The fragrance is a bit too strong, too… An odourless lubricant, or one with a subtle scent, would have been preferable.
As for the taste, it’s not great, but not disgusting either. It tastes more or less like it smells: flowers. Cum Lube seems suitable for oral sex, although it’s not the best product for that.
Ingredients
Manhoob Cum Lube is a water-based lubricant, so it’s compatible with condoms (the packaging says so) and, presumably, with sex toys (this isn’t specified).
The list of ingredients is as follows: Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glyceryl, Searate SE, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Aroma (Flavor), Salicylic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.
A few things to note:
- It contains glycerin and glycerin derivatives. Cum Lube is therefore not recommended for people who are prone to vaginal infections. That’s probably why it’s presented as an anal lubricant.
- It contains a silicone, dimethicone. So it’s best to avoid using it with Vixskin or soft plastic sex toys.
- It contains no parabens, which is a good thing.
Using Cum Lube
As a lubricant
The lubrication is pretty effective, although Cum Lube dries out a bit too quickly for my liking.
As fake semen
Right. This is really THE point we’re interested in. You don’t buy a lubricant called “Cum Lube” because its bottle looks pretty, or for its slippery properties (though those do matter, of course), but for its ability to imitate semen.
Its official description claims that the colour and texture, which imitate a bodily fluid, are intended to avoid distracting you during an intimate moment. But I remain convinced that this product is really meant for much more salacious uses. After all, if you wanted to be discreet, you’d have opted for a colourless, odourless lubricant.

As I said above, the texture and colour are convincing as semen, while the smell and taste are not convincing at all.
In short, visually, it’s a successful imitation, but if you want to feel like you’re licking seminal fluid, you’ll have to look elsewhere. The bonus, though, is that the bottle’s little spritz has a bit of an “ejaculation” feel to it, which is quite fun.
Conclusion on Velv’Or Manhood Cum Lube
The good points:
- The appearance and texture of semen are well imitated.
- The spray bottle, which lets you “ejaculate” small amounts of lubricant.
The bad points:
- The strong floral fragrance. I’d have preferred an odourless lubricant, or one that imitated the smell of semen.
Velv’Or’s Manhood Cum Lube is a fun lubricant that could lend itself to various role-play scenarios involving fake semen, with a fair degree of realism… As long as you don’t get it in your mouth (otherwise, it’s a blowjob on a tree-man that we’re imitating). All in all, it’s a good product.
Merci à Velv'or de nous avoir fourni le lubrifiant Manhood Cum Lube pour ce test
