The look of Fleshlights isn’t universally loved. Indeed, a male sex toy that looks like a vagina in a tube can be a bit unsettling. The brand has therefore moved into more abstract designs, with the Fleshlight Flight and the Fleshlight Turbo Thrust, which I’m going to talk about in this article.
The shape of the Turbo Thrust doesn’t evoke a sex organ, but a sort of turbine engine. Clearly, Fleshlight has a thing for planes…
Of course, you probably wouldn’t want to stuff your precious member between the cutting blades of a jet engine. But you can make an exception for this one, which is made of a material soft and squishy as marshmallow.
Here is our review of the Fleshlight Turbo Thrust.
Sex toy packaging
The packaging is basic: it’s a simple cardboard box.
No storage accessory is provided; however, as the sex toy closes like a box with its cap, it hardly needs a case.
Look of the Fleshlight Turbo Thrust
With its transparent casing and its insert (the inner penetrable part) in a metallic copper colour, shaped like a turbine, the Fleshlight Turbo Thrust has a look halfway between steampunk and cyberpunk. It is also available in a translucent blue version.
It doesn’t represent a vulva, at any rate. More like the weird jet engine of a futuristic cyber-machine. A machine that won’t hurt your willy, don’t worry.
It’s bulky, like the other Fleshlights, but not so ugly, in the end. It’s less kitsch than the “vagina in a tube” style of the other masturbators of this type.
Texture and materials
The casing is made of hard plastic. The insert, on the other hand, is all soft and squishy.
As for its composition, it’s TPE, a thermoplastic elastomer. It’s rather imprecise; you don’t know exactly what’s in it, at any rate no phthalates. But it doesn’t smell very nice, a strong plastic smell.
Effectiveness of the Fleshlight Turbo Thrust
Before penetrating the Turbo Thrust, as with any masturbator, you will need lubricant, because the opening is narrow, and of course, it doesn’t lubricate itself.

Any water-based lubricant will do, as silicone-based ones can potentially damage the material.
As for sensations, it’s realistic. And by realistic, I don’t mean that you feel like you’re penetrating a real jet engine. The sensations are halfway between vaginal penetration and anal penetration; it’s rather tight and all squishy.

Keeping the proportions in mind, though: you obviously don’t feel like you’re penetrating a human being, but the stimulation is felt all along the penis, with pressure all around, which comfortably wraps the member thanks to the elasticity of the material.
I still prefer a more “manual” stimulation, but the sensations are pleasant, and the orgasm is there.

Care of the Fleshlight Turbo Thrust
The only downside: caring for the sex toy. It’s a hassle, and hardly practical if you live with people you don’t want to know that you have a sex toy.
You have to remove the insert from its casing, turn it inside out, soap it and rinse it to properly clean what you’ve left inside.
Then you have to let it air dry. And finally, if you want to be sure of keeping its soft texture, you can dust it with a maintenance powder for masturbators, or even cornflour.
In short, if you plan to use it frequently, it’s hardly practical.
Conclusion on the Fleshlight Turbo Thrust
The good points:
- The sensations are there. The Fleshlight Turbo Thrust is an effective sex toy, which provides stimulation fairly close to what you feel when you’re penetrating a vagina or an anus.
- Its less evocative look removes the “creepy” side that you can associate with the “portable vagina” aspect of the Fleshlights in the “Girls” range, for example (or other masturbators of this type).
The bad points:
- It remains a bulky erotic accessory, and above all, quite a hassle to clean and maintain.
- Although the material is (a priori) non-toxic, it smells bad.
