The Lelo Gigi 2 is an upgraded version of the Gigi, the famous Lelo vibrator dedicated to the G-spot.
On the menu: more powerful vibrations, more modes, a softer texture, a waterproof sex toy and a new colour option on offer.
Here is our review of the Lelo Gigi 2.
Packaging
The box is the same as most LELO boxes: understated, pleasing to look at, sturdy enough to be kept.
A satin storage case is included.
The sex toy
Appearance
Never having held the original Gigi in my hands, I hadn’t really paid much attention to its dimensions. So I was surprised when I discovered the Lelo Gigi 2: I hadn’t expected it to be so small.
It measures 16.5 centimetres long (that is 5.5 cm shorter than the Iris, for example, and 5.5 cm longer than the Mia). It is not presented as a “pocket” vibrator strictly speaking, but it fits neatly into most handbags.
We received it in grey, the newly available shade: with the colour and shape combined, it reminds me of a mini elephant’s trunk.
Its shape is curved, while its end is flared and flat: it is this area that will press against the G-spot with its entire surface.
The finishes are flawless: not a single flaw on its surface, no gap around the joints, the object leaves an overall impression of sturdiness.
Texture and materials
The Gigi 2 is made from medical-grade silicone. As with all other LELO sex toys, the material has been tested and approved by the FDA: in short, there is no doubt about its composition; it poses no risk to the body.
It is rigid and hard, but its surface is really very soft, a bit like that of the Ina 2 or the Smart Wand.
Battery
Like its predecessor, the Gigi 2 is rechargeable.
The official battery durations are 2 hours for charging and 2 to 4 hours of use. In practice, I didn’t time it, but charging seemed fairly quick (I would have said less than the two hours advertised) and the battery lasts a long time.
The Gigi 2 claims to be waterproof, which, it seems, was not the case with its predecessor, only “splash-resistant”. You can give it a shower without fearing it will give up the ghost. (And anyway, it has a one-year warranty).
So far, I have never seen a LELO vibrator presented as waterproof die from a bath. After all, all the LELOs I have had my hands on are still functional). But, just to be a bit nitpicky, the Smart Wand Large, which I have not spared, ended up, after numerous showers, with a few traces of oxidation in its charging port, which looks a lot like that of the Gigi 2. However, this has not affected its operation.
In short: if you really want to avoid any risk of wear, no showers for the Gigi 2. Otherwise, it can get wet without any problem.

Controls and modes
The Gigi 2 has eight modes (the Gigi had five), all adjustable in intensity:
- A constant vibration mode.
- Three regular “pulsation” modes.
- Three modes that play on repeated, progressively increasing intensity variations.
- A random mode.
As for the controls, it’s fairly simple: four buttons:
- “+” and “-” to switch on, adjust the vibration power and switch off.
- Two arrows to change mode.
Use
The LELO Gigi 2 is primarily devoted to the stimulation of the G-spot, this erogenous zone located on the upper vaginal wall, a few centimetres from the entrance.
Lelo Ina 2, Comet Wand de Jopen and Lelo Gigi 2
This zone is more easily stimulated after some foreplay. For this, you can make use of a partner’s participation, or use your fingers or a vibrator on the clit.
On the clitoris
The good news is that the vibrations of the Gigi 2 are powerful, even very powerful for its size.
By way of comparison, they are roughly of the same order of magnitude as those of the Mia 2, maybe a tiny bit stronger. It is difficult to tell them apart because the textures of these two vibrators are very different. But I get the impression that the nearly flat surface of the Gigi 2’s head helps them spread further.
Against the clitoris, it is effective, and makes it fairly easy to climax this way.
Well, of course, if you want to always have vibrations on the clit while using it for its main function, the G-spot, you need a second sex toy. But it is already a good thing that it is versatile.
Stimulating the G-spot
To stimulate the G-spot, you need to insert the LELO Gigi 2 into the vagina, its head facing towards the navel. It is not too wide: it inserts easily, but you can use water-based lubricant if needed.

Thanks to its curved shape, its wide and flattened end presses against the front wall of the vagina, on a surface that roughly corresponds to that of the G-spot.
You only need to feel your way around, letting yourself be guided by sensations, to find it.
Then, you can simply leave the vibrator in place and enjoy the vibrations, or make the head of the Gigi 2, pressing on the G-spot, perform circular movements, or perform back-and-forth movements.
With complementary stimulation on the clit, with any one of these three methods, I reach a powerful orgasm fairly quickly.
Conclusion on the Lelo Gigi 2
The good points:
- Its vibrations are (very) powerful.
- It effectively stimulates the G-spot.
- The usual quality of LELO products: the great packaging, the body-safe and pleasant-to-touch material, the sturdiness, the finishes, a battery worthy of the name, etc…
- It is quite small, so easily portable.
The bad points:
- No bad points strictly speaking. For the sake of form, we will say its price (99 euros), which still makes it a considerable sex toy investment.
The LELO Gigi 2 is a sex toy worth a detour. Its main advantage is that it allows you to stimulate the G-spot without any effort, without having to deal with complex techniques.
As a bonus, its very modest size is an asset for anyone who does not just leave their vibrators at the bottom of a bedside table. For my part, I reserve it a place of choice in my bag if I am away from my sex toy cupboard for too long.
It is not cheap, admittedly. But we are dealing with a well-made, solid object, equipped with good motors and therefore powerful vibrations, and a battery that does not give up the ghost at the turn of an orgasm. In short, a multitude of signs of good quality that LELO has almost got us used to. It is better to have an excellent sex toy than three uninteresting sex toys for the same price. I therefore recommend the LELO Gigi 2 without hesitation.
