Just like Rosebuds, the French brand Sylvie Monthulé makes jewellery that you do not necessarily show to passers-by. Indeed, these adorn intimate areas such as the vulva, the clitoris, the breasts or the anus. We reviewed the “Double Secret penetrating”, an erotic object somewhere between a sex toy and intimate jewellery.
This accessory has two eggs, linked together by a little chain decorated with a pendant. One of the eggs is worn in the vagina, the other in the anus.
Packaging of the intimate jewellery
The “Double Secret Penetrating” jewellery is presented in a very minimalist way, in a small translucent fabric pouch.
This is a rather good idea. Indeed, this packaging takes up no space, is quite sturdy, and therefore allows the object to be stored long-term. In short, it is simple but practical.
The Tailbud by Rosebuds was, incidentally, packaged in a similar way.
The object: jewellery for sex and the anus
The Sylvie Monthulé brand
Sylvie Monthulé describes herself as a “creator of erotic jewellery and pleasure objects”. Since 1995, she has designed and created the items for the brand bearing her name.
Sylvie Monthulé’s jewellery is made in France. This means, in practice, that the people who contributed to its creation had fair working conditions and a fair salary.
Appearance of the Double Secret penetrating
A gold chain links a small black resin egg, a slightly larger second egg, a decorative fabric knot and, finally, a droplet made of the same material as the eggs.
The small egg has a diameter of about 2.5 centimetres, while the larger one is 3.5 centimetres.
Texture and materials
The eggs and the droplet are made of rigid, very smooth resin.
The chain is made of gold: I have to admit I was rather surprised about this, having initially thought it was made of some kind of gilded metal. But on the designer’s official website, we learn that it is 750/1000 gold (i.e. 18 carats). Beyond the luxurious aspect, this is also a good point because allergies to this material are extremely rare.
The knot is made of satin.
Using the penetrating jewellery
The “Double Secret” by Sylvie Monthulé is a piece of “penetrating jewellery”: the larger of the two eggs is placed in the vagina, while the smaller one is inserted into the anus.
Inserting the two eggs
They are fairly small, and therefore quite easy to insert, but a little lubricant makes things easier and makes the sensations more pleasant, particularly because the “eggs” will have more movement.
To get an idea of the dimensions of the Sylvie Monthulé jewellery, here it is next to the Fleshjack Jason Visconti.
I used the Pjur Back Door lubricant, a silicone-based lubricant (which therefore lubricates very, very well), presented in its packaging as an anal lubricant, but which is also perfectly suitable for vaginal lubrication. No contraindications are indicated regarding lubricants that can or cannot be used with this piece of jewellery, and I did not encounter any particular problem.
The sensations
The sensation is disorienting. Despite its small size, the jewellery occupies “space” substantially, due to the double penetration effect.
Indeed, the vagina and the anus share a wall. So, when you insert an object (or a penis, or a finger) into one of the two orifices, it presses against that wall, and there is much less room on the other side to put things in. People who have a vagina, or who regularly have one “to hand”, know what I’m talking about.
As a result, when you insert the two eggs, they settle one above the other. Thus, they simultaneously block the entrance to the vagina and the anus, giving a curious impression of “fullness”, strange but rather pleasant.
There is some slack in the length of the chain between the two eggs. It is not taut and swings freely between the buttocks. The weight of the decorative droplet keeps the other end of the chain (the part attached to the vaginal egg) vertical between the tops of the two thighs.
If you want to get the details right, it is better to be careful to orient the knot so that it looks nice (from the front or the back, depending on the direction in which you intend to show it) before inserting the egg, as once the egg is in place, it is difficult to turn it without removing it.
The “Double Secret penetrating” lends itself quite well to use during BDSM play. The fact that it completely blocks the entrance to the vagina and the anus can in particular give it a prime place in a bondage context.
To remove the jewellery, simply pull very gently on the little chain so as to remove one egg first, then the other.
Wearing it under clothes
I also tried wearing the “Double Secret penetrating” under my clothes, walking as if nothing was wrong.
It is quite possible, but the little chain and its pendant get a bit in the way. Their contact under trousers is not hyper pleasant, unless you wear sufficiently covering underwear to keep them concealed. With a thong, they end up pressed by the trouser fabric against the inside of a thigh, it is cold and and you can feel it pulling a little on the chain.
Conclusion on the Double Secret Penetrating jewellery
- It is a beautiful object, luxurious and pretty.
- The sensation when wearing it is unusual and pleasant.
- It lends itself superbly to very aesthetic bondage play.
The bad points:
- It is not really designed to be worn while walking. Or at least, not while walking with clothing on your bottom.
The “Double Secret penetrating” created by Sylvie Monthulé is an original and elegant object that reveals all of its potential when used for soft BDSM.
It is an interesting alternative to Rosebuds when it comes to wearing it for a short period during erotic play. More targeted, given that only a woman can wear it, but it provides more sensations on its own.
