We’ve tested the Palm Power Massager. This ultra-powerful vibrator, which is mains-powered via a transformer, has two features that caught my attention: it’s very small and claims to be very powerful.
Something in between the refined Smart Wand Medium by LELO and the big brute that is the Body Wand, then? That remains to be seen. As the test progresses, I’ll try to make a few comparisons with these two sex toys.
Even if the Palm Power brand doesn’t tell us much, this vibrator doesn’t come from nowhere. In fact, it was created by BMS Factory, which is also behind the brands Leaf, Swan and Lux.
Sex toy packaging
The box is transparent plastic. It has a nice look, but it won’t last very long before ending up flattened.
Also, it’s worth noting thatno storage accessories is provided. A shame.
But let’s move on to the most important bit: the sex toy itself.
The look of the Palm Power Massager
The Palm Power resembles (vaguely) a little fuchsia pink and grey microphone. Even though it’s far less ugly than the Fairy or the Body Wand, we won’t go so far as to call it beautiful… “Cute” would be a more appropriate term.
There’s nothing alarming about holding it, in any case; the build quality seems acceptable at first glance.
It’s small, it’s pink and it’s grey: no, it’s not a mouse.
Its dimensions are much more modest than most classic corded vibrators : 19 centimetres long, with a head measuring approximately 3.5 centimetres in diameter. It is therefore easier to think about carrying it around.
It is even a little smaller than the Smart Wand Medium, for example (which, let’s not forget, is already much smaller than its big brother the large model or the Body Wand).
Texture and material
The body of the Palm Power is made of plastic. A note on the packaging tells us that the sex toy contains no phthalates.
Its head, attached to a flexible “neck”, is covered by a removable silicone cap. The ability to remove this cap greatly simplifies the cleaning step. A plus for practicality.
To vary the sensations, this cap can be replaced with other accessories… unfortunately sold separately.
Two replacement “head” kits for the Palm Power, each containing two heads, are currently on the market:
- the “sensual” kit, which includes a “point G” tip, and another intended to turn the device into a rabbit,
- the “body” kit, which in principle would target a more platonic stimulation. Because, like most ultra-powerful vibrators, the device is also designed to be a massage device. In short, these are tips in the shape of a snail’s head (an attentive snail and a slacker snail, to be more precise).
Power supply for the Palm Power Massager
The Palm Power only works when plugged into the mains. It is therefore absolutely not waterproof , not a big deal for me personally, but it will certainly bother some people.
On the other hand, we won’t be able to complain about a lack of sockets: adapters are supplied for pretty much every corner of the globe fitted with electrical sockets.

If you’re planning to take it on holiday, by the way, I’ll still remind you to make sure before you leave that sex toys are allowed in the destination country – as well as where the plane makes a stop. That’s far from always being the case. And, to avoid a spot of embarrassment when going through customs, put it in checked luggage. The customs officers will still see your sex toy, but not in front of you. Anyway, I’m digressing.
One irritating flaw worth noting on the power supply side: its cable tends to come unplugged during use, abruptly interrupting the vibrations… And it’s quite frustrating.
Controls for the Palm Power Massager
A single, completely round button turns the sex toy on, turns it off, and increases the vibration intensity. Increase only. Don’t you notice something weird? You can’t lower the vibration intensity without switching the sex toy off and back on. Another thing likely to cut you off short in the middle of a masturbation session. What a shame, a second button would have been welcome.
That’s no problem if you’re mainly looking for powerful vibrations. But if you like to play around with varying the intensities, it becomes very noticeably tedious and disappointing.
Effectiveness of the Palm Power Massager
On the other hand, power-wise, nothing to complain about : the Palm Power is ultra-powerful. Guaranteed orgasm in under a minute.
For similar dimensions, it is significantly more powerful than the Smart Wand Medium. Among the sex toys we have tested, it even ranks joint second place on the podium for power records, behind the Body Wand and more or less on par with the Smart Wand Large, which is much bulkier (I don’t count the Rock Box, which for me sits more in the category of fucking machines rather than sex toys).
Is a corded power supply, with all the drawbacks it entails, the only way to get such powerful vibrations? In principle, probably not, but in practice it seems to be the case with all sex toys on the market.
Do you really need that much power? Well, you’re not asking me, but your clito. If you find classic vibrators too wimpy, if you want to climax just to relax, without necessarily being in the mood, or if you don’t have time to waste, the Palm Power might prove very useful.
Comparison with the Body Wand
The difference in power between the Palm Power and the Body Wand being quite difficult to determine without seeing them side by side, I therefore put myself in an “experimental” situation: I used one, then the other, alternately, on several successive occasions.
Summary: With both sex toys cranked up to the maximum (which, in practice, happens fairly rarely when using them normally, given their power), it is hard to tell whether the Palm Power is very slightly less powerful, or whether its dimensions, by stimulating a smaller area, create this impression. In any case, as for the difference in intensity, we’re only a tiny bit apart.
However, what caught my attention even more was this annoying tendency for the Palm Power’s transformer to come unplugged easily : at full power, the vibrations make it worse, and you have to hold the cable in place if you don’t want to be left frustrated because it unplugs. I’m tempted to put some tape on it to keep it in place once and for all (it would look ugly, admittedly, but it would work).
Conclusion on the Palm Power Massager
The good points:
- It’s effective. Very effective, even. Its vibrations are extremely powerful.
- Its removable cap, which makes it easier to clean.
- It’s small, so it’s portable.
The bad points:
- The adjustment button, which can only go up, is a bit annoying.
- It tends to come unplugged easily. It’s the main flaw for me.
If I had to place the Palm Power Massager in a category, I would put it among the classic, powerful clitoral stimulators. So there’s no particularly notable difference compared to the Body Wand or the Fairy, but it rivals these two sex toys without any difficulty, while being much smaller
The only truly innovative point: the ability to remove its cap. That greatly simplifies cleaning.
In addition, this will allow the replacement “heads” sold separately to fit more snugly, and more attractively. Various accessories are also available to transform the Fairy and the Body Wand, but these have to go around the sextoy’s head, which was not designed for that purpose: this means they have to be stretchy, which often makes them look like octopuses from the future.
In two sentences: the Palm Power is extremely powerful, and yet very modest in size, but suffers from practical shortcomings. In short: a fast, effective clitoral orgasm is guaranteed… as long as you keep the cable in place during use.
