Some time ago, a reader, in search of a good ultra-powerful vibrator for his partner, asked us questions about the rechargeable Body Wand. Less well known than the Fairy and the Europe Magic Wand, this sex toy is the cordless little brother of the Body Wand.
Having never used this vibrator, I didn’t know enough to be able to advise him as I would have liked. But I decided to put that right by planning a review of this sex toy. So here is the review of the Body Wand Rechargeable Massager.
Packaging of the sex toy
The Body Wand Rechargeable arrived in a cardboard box, quite similar to that of the Body Wand Midnight. Midnight .replace? Wait final must exact. Let’s output clean. Need ensure no accidental extra. Final: …

The Body Wand Rechargeable Massager is made of ABS plastic, like the other Body Wand models and the Fairy models we tested. This material, safe for the body, is non-porous, fairly easy to clean, and rigid.

Like other stimulators of the same type, the vibrator’s neck is flexible. This allows the vibrating head to take the right angle relative to the clit*, without applying excessive pressure to it. It. Or to the area of the body you press it against, the shoulder blade, for example, if you’re planning to use it to massage your back.
Powering the Body Wand Rechargeable Massager
As its name indicates, the Body Wand Rechargeable Massager recharges (thankfully!), using a supplied adapter.

The charger plugs into a mini socket located on the side of the sextoy’s handle. This socket is covered by a cap when the Body Wand is not being charged. Just next to this socket, a small light comes on when charging is complete. It is stated on the box, in English: 1 hour of charge = up to 1 hour of pleasure. I didn’t time it to verify these claims, but the length of time the battery lasted seemed quite honest to me.

The vibrator can work while it is plugged in, and a note on the packaging highlights this. So, in principle, there is no risk in doing so, as long as you take the usual precautions associated with using a corded vibrator: no water nearby, don’t chew the cable, and so on… With most rechargeable sex toys, it’s generally the other way around: you often find warnings such as “Caution, do not use while charging” in the manuals.rn.rnThat’s a good point in favour of the Body Wand Rechargeable Massager. If you’ve forgotten to charge it or if you manage to drain the entire battery after a particularly intense masturbating spree, the charger can save the day, you don’t find yourself stupidly left stranded.

Controls and modes
The controls on the Body Wand Rechargeable Massager are very simple.rn.rnA wheel is connected to a potentiometer, allowing you to adjust the vibration intensity as gradually as you like.rn.rnA button on the side lets you switch to a pulsing mode. In this mode, the vibration intensity cannot be adjusted. Pressing the button again returns you to the standard mode.
Noise level of the Body Wand Rechargeable Massager
The packaging touts a silent vibrator, with a logo accompanied by the caption “Whisper quiet” (“a calm whisper”).rn.rnIn practice, the Body Wand Rechargeable Massager is indeed a bit less noisy than its companions. Calling it a silent sex toy would be false, but it doesn’t go high-pitched like the Fairy, so the sound carries a bit less.
Handling
The Body Wand Rechargeable Massager is very easy to operate with two fingers: you keep one resting on the dial, which allows you to adjust the vibration intensity very intuitively, and another near the “Pulsing” button.button. As for how it feels in the hand, most other ultra-powerful vibrators of this size give roughly the same impression, except for the Fairy Lithium, which tapers around the dial, allowing a firmer grip.

Effectiveness
The maximum power of the Body Wand Rechargeable Massager is slightly lower than that of the Fairy Lithium. But it is more than enough for me to reach orgasm just as quickly. It is not quite the same type of vibration: its frequency seems a little lower and its amplitude higher. But no figures on this are shown on the packaging.

As for the pulse mode, personally, I don’t find it not very interesting. These are very regular pulses, like , , quite quick. This alternation can be fun for starting stimulation in an original way, but it quickly becomes frustrating. doesn’t interfere with the other features of the vibrator, and has the merit of being there, which is still a small plus.
Conclusion on the Body Wand Rechargeable Massager
The good points:
- It is rechargeable, and can also run on mains power if you’ve forgotten to charge it.
- Its look is more understated.
- It has a bonus pulsing mode, which isn’t all that impressive, but whose separate control button doesn’t interfere with the “normal” operation of the vibrator.
The bad points:
- It is a bit less powerful than its direct competitor, the Fairy Lithium.
Note finale du test
Les plus
- Rechargeable
- A more understated look than the Fairy
Les moins
- A bit less powerful than the Fairy Lithium
The Body Wand Rechargeable Massager is a bit less powerful than the Fairy Lithium. But that doesn’t stop it being a very effective vibrator. As a trade-off, it seems a little more sophisticated, with the option to switch to a complementary mode, and it has a more understated look, with no fairies or pink butterflies. fairies or pink butterflies. or pink butterflies. thoroughly recommendable sex toy and rather well designed. It is admittedly not the most powerful of them all, but it more than deserves its title as an ultra-powerful vibrator.
