Le Sex Machines Museum, in Prague, is a museum that celebrates sex toys, erotic accessories and fucking machines. It displays a collection of 350 curiosities, spread across three floors, with a total area of 600 square metres.
You can marvel at risqué outfits and unusual bondage accessories, vintage sex toys, but also imposing fucking machines, as well as chastity devices.
It’s worth noting that the medieval chastity belt is nothing but a legend. However, anti-masturbation devices did indeed exist in the 1920s. The museum has one such example, which was intended for teenagers. This atrocious machine had a ring that the unfortunate young man had to place around his penis before going to bed. In the event of an erection, an electronic device connected to this ring would trigger a bell to wake up the parents.
In addition to its collection of sex objects, the Sex Machines Museum includes a replica of an old-school porno cinema, which screens erotic films from the early twentieth century.
The Sex Machines Museum in Prague is one of the few eroticism museums still in operation. It is, however, currently temporarily closed due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
