We were lucky enough to test a sex toy with a badass, genuinely original look: the Motörhead Orgasmatron vibrator.
I mentioned a while back that, like Rammstein, Motörhead had brought out its official range of sex toys, produced by the Lovehoney shop.
Unlike the German band, Motörhead didn’t bother modelling its members’ dicks in a bid to satisfy the most devoted groupies. Just as well, because those ridiculously expensive jelly penises weren’t exactly a dream come true…
Its range of erotic toys includes a bullet-style vibrator, an insertable vibrator made from ABS plastic, and a glass dildo, all available in several versions faithful to the band’s graphic style… and, most interestingly, a beast of a toy with a completely unique look: the Orgasmatron.
“Orgasmatron” is the title of an album (and a song) by Motörhead. But the Orgasmatron is now also an ultra-powerful mains-powered wand vibrator, topped with a War Pig, Motörhead’s emblem.
Here’s our review of the Motörhead Orgasmatron vibrator.
Motörhead vibrator packaging
Although disposable, the packaging is really nice, matching the sex toy and completely on theme.
Printed in silver on a black background, it features the band’s name and emblem, Snaggletooth: a big beastly head with tusks and a spiked helmet, halfway between a dog and a boar, also known as the “War Pig”. It reads: “Orgasmatron – War Pig Wand Vibrator”.
On the back, the vibrator is pictured surrounded by hellfire.
What the Motörhead Orgasmatron vibrator looks like
The Orgasmatron is black, an obvious colour choice for such a badass vibrator. Its handle is decorated with the band’s logo, the “War Pig” and the Ace of Spades from the album “Ace of Spades”, all printed in silver.
Its solid-black head depicts Snaggletooth in three dimensions.
Like the head of the Tokidoki x Lovehoney unicorn vibrator, which we tested previously, this head is a thick, removable silicone cover hiding a more conventional head beneath, similar in shape and size to that of the Fairy Large. Black, of course.
Texture and materials
The “War Pig” cover on the head is made from silicone soft, while the rest of the sex toy is made from plastic rigid.
Both materials are body-safe and non-porous.

Powering the Motörhead vibrator
The Orgasmatron is mains-powered.
The good thing is that you’ll never run out of battery. The bad thing is that it’s therefore not very portable and, needless to say, unusable if there’s water nearby.
Orgasmatron controls
The Orgasmatron is controlled using a control dial, which operates a potentiometer.
This system, the same as on the Fairy or the Body Wand Large, is, in my opinion, the most practical and pleasant to use. It lets you adjust the power precisely to the intensity you want, and change it whenever you like with a simple flick of your finger.
How loud is the Motörhead vibrator?
As for noise, the Orgasmatron will go completely unnoticed… if you’re in the middle of a metal gig. Otherwise, well, like any other ultra-powerful mains-powered vibrator, it’s noisy. The silicone cover does, however, muffle it a little.
Using the Motörhead vibrator
The Orgasmatron lives up to its name: it’s incredibly effective, delivering a one-minute orgasm.
More specifically, its power is in the same league as the Body Wand, the Fairy Large and the Tokidoki x Lovehoney Unicorn vibrator.

I suspect it’s this one’s evil twin: identical shapes, heads of the same diameter, the same power and the same kind of cover.
Beneath their radically different outfits, do the unicorn and the War Pig have the same heart? In any case, they can swap hats. I’m suddenly picturing Lemmy riding a unicorn.
But back to the sensations themselves. The soft, textured cover reduces friction, making the vibrations less harsh on the clitoris, and lets you play with the contours and different textures for a variety of pleasures.
And if you want to go back to something more “classic” and feel the full force of the vibrations without any cushioning, simply remove the cap and you’re left with a darker-looking Fairy clone.

Conclusion on the Motörhead vibrator
The good points:
- The Orgasmatron’s design is original, badass and a tribute to the band. Its creators didn’t just write “Motörhead” somewhere on the thing: it’s a fun-looking pleasure toy you’ll want to show off.
- It’s incredibly effective, as powerful as the Fairy, with a cover whose texture lets you vary the sensations.
The not-so-good points:
- It’s best suited to fans. Give this vibrator to someone who doesn’t like metal and they’ll probably give it a funny look, wondering where on earth this odd little beast came from.
The Orgasmatron isn’t just a bit of merch for collectors. It’s a formidable orgasm machine that lives up to its name.
Obviously, it costs more than the Fairy, but at around a hundred euros, it’s still a reasonable price for a well-made, brilliantly original and effective bit of kit.
If you’re looking for a nice and slightly unusual gift for a metalhead friend or partner, or if you’re a Motörhead fan and fancy treating yourself, don’t hesitate: the Orgasmatron is a good sex toy.
