The Duo Vibe Rianne S vibrator is a UFO among sex toys. Like the G-Vibe, it’s a sex toy that, at first glance, you’re not quite sure what to do with.
This sex toy is sold as a couples’ vibrator. However, its shape is completely different from anything we’ve seen so far, whether from We Vibe, or from Lelo with the Tiani, the Ida or the Tara.
Let’s get to the test and find out what this Duo Vibe might actually be good for.
Packaging
The packaging is a thick cardboard box, on which you can see a photo of the sex toy. It’s not particularly original, but the presentation is decent.
No storage case is included, which is a shame.
The appearance of the Duo Vibe Rianne S
The Duo Vibe Rianne S looks like a sort of rounded adjustable spanner, in purple. At around twenty centimetres long, it’s much bigger than most couples’ sex toys.
One of its ends, oblong in shape and slightly curved, is intended for penetration. The other, which forms an arc, is meant for masturbating the penis… A sort of big cock clamp, whose appearance seems rather strange.
Texture and materials
The coating on the Duo Vibe Rianne S is 100% silicone. No risk to the body, and no smell.
It’s firm and rigid.
Power
The Duo Vibe Rianne S recharges using a cable with a jack plug on the sex toy end, and a USB connector on the other end. In short, another proprietary charging cable that you’ll need to avoid losing or mixing up with others! It would be so much more convenient if, like smartphones, all vibrators switched to micro-USB.
As for the charging time and battery life, there’s no official estimate, and we didn’t time it. But we didn’t notice anything alarming; it seems to hold its charge quite well. However, the manual recommends charging the sex toy for eight hours straight before first use, to maximise the battery’s lifespan. We didn’t do that.
The sex toy is fully waterproof. You can soap it up and wash it under running water, and take it in the shower or the bath.
Using the Duo Vibe Rianne S
A little WTF aside: among a list of obvious precautions, the Duo Vibe Rianne S manual states: “do not use the device on an unexplained calf pain”. Uh… Okay… I’d like to know why. But given that you’re reading a sex toy review and not a calf-scratcher review, I suppose you’re in the clear.
Controls
The vibrations of the two ends can be controlled independently. Indeed, the “cock clamp” section has its own motor, while the penetrating section has two others.
There are only two buttons, a round one and a “+” one, and the controls are fairly simple and easy to use:
- The round button switches the sex toy on, and allows you to navigate between the vibration modes of the penetrating section.
- The “+” button lets you choose the vibration mode of the section that encircles the penis.
Modes
Each end of the sex toy has 7 vibration modes: first 3 constant intensity levels, then 4 “fancy” ones.
Noise level
As for the noise level: you can hear it, but a door is enough to muffle the sound.
The Duo Vibe Rianne S as a masturbator
The “cock clamp” of the Duo Vibe Rianne S can allow it to be used as a vibrating masturbator, in the manner of the Man Wand. It works, but it’s not as well made. Indeed, this rigid ring doesn’t adapt at all to the diameter of the penis, and its angle isn’t intuitive for masturbation.

Clitoral use
In external use on the clitoris, the texture isn’t ideal, a bit too firm. But the vibrations are more than powerful enough to easily achieve an orgasm.
The Duo Vibe Rianne S for vaginal penetration
As a vaginal vibrator, the Duo Vibe Rianne S is top. Its curvature and firmness allow it to stimulate the G-spot to perfection, and its nicely powerful vibrations make an impression.
For anal penetration
With the sex toy’s “cock clamp” acting as a base, the Rianne S Duo Vibe is perfectly suited to risk-free anal use. Again, the shape of the sex toy, combined with its powerful vibrations, is terribly effective.
The Duo Vibe Rianne S as a “couples’ sex toy”
He wears the device around his penis, and simultaneously penetrates her vaginally with his penis and anally with the sex toy. It’s a sort of mini cock belt, in a way. Except, well. As often happens, the designers have overlooked a few details of human anatomy.
The wall between the vagina and the anus is super thin, and the total space is limited. Indeed, if you have something in your anus, it’s harder to insert something into your vagina, and vice versa. So to pull off a double penetration, you need to approach it at the right angle, and with devices that have a certain flexibility, whether it’s a penis or a sex toy. And with this rigid sex toy, only guided by the angle of your partner’s cock, it’s a stretch!
It remains doable, but a struggle, and not very comfortable. The trial hasn’t really convinced us.
Conclusion on the Duo Vibe Rianne S
The good points:
- Its vibrations are very powerful.
- It’s an excellent sex toy for G-spot stimulation.
- It’s also a safe and very effective anal sex toy.
The bad points:
- As a masturbator, even though it fulfils its function, its ergonomics leave a lot to be desired.
- Its use for double penetration hasn’t really convinced us.
- No storage case.
Note finale du test
Les plus
- Very powerful vibrations
- Effectively stimulates the G-spot
- Also effective for anal use
Les moins
- Double penetration not very practical
- No storage case
Even though using the Duo Vibe Rianne S for double penetration hasn’t really convinced me, and that’s the feature you buy it for, it proves very effective as a regular vibrator. And isn’t specifically more expensive, or less expensive for that matter, than a regular “G-spot” vibrator of equivalent quality.
Well, as far as we’re concerned, it hasn’t been a resounding success. But if you fancy trying the double penetration experience that this sex toy promises, you’ve not much to lose compared to a more conventional vibrator, other than the risk of ending up with a sex toy that has a slightly odd shape for nothing.
