The Womanizer is already packed in its case, a rather pretty, sturdy and practical box, with slots for fitting the sex toy, its charger and accessories.
Appearance of the Womanizer W100
The term “Womanizer”, popularised among non-English speakers by Britney Spears’ song of the same name, means “a ladies’ man”.
If you look hard enough, I’m sure we could find a less fusty synonym. But the look of the Womanizer W100 is such a pile-up of kitsch elements that it deserves a touch of cheesiness in its name. To sum up the situation: it seems dressed up for a disco night.
Design-wise, in the “classic” versions of the device, you can choose between pink or blue croc, half fuchsia half leopard, or half black half leopard. And one of its control buttons is a big round rhinestone. It’s an eyesore…
What else to say? Ah, I forgot: a bit of an ear thermometer look.
On the side of the device, a small inscription reminds us that its design is patented. In case someone would want to copy this so… original look, I imagine…
The special Valentine’s Day edition is a bit less ugly, red with roses.
Texture and materials
The body of the sex toy is made of rigid plastic, while its head (the part in contact with the clitoris), removable, is made of soft medical-grade silicone.
Power
The Womanizer is rechargeable. No problems to report on battery life, which lasted without issue through a good number of uses.
One drawback, however: it is not waterproof.
The tip that comes into contact with the clitoris is removable and can therefore be washed separately… but that doesn’t remove lubricant traces from the rest of the sex toy (when you have lube on your fingers, you get it everywhere, starting with the power button…). But still, you can manage to clean it without too much of a hassle.
The concept of the Womanizer W100
The way the Womanizer works differs from that of a “classic” clitoral vibrator in several ways.
Generally, a vibrator is placed flat against the clitoris, or following a convex surface, and… it vibrates (thanks, Cap’tain Obvious!).
The Womanizer, for its part, has a concave tip: the clitoris goes into the “hole” of this tip. Instead of stimulating the clit in a “one-directional” way, the sex toy envelops it.
More precisely, the “official” description of the device talks about “stimulation without direct contact”. I don’t know if that’s accurate: during use, the clit is hidden under the tip, so you don’t really see what’s happening… The sensations are there, but it’s difficult to determine precisely what they result from.
Second difference: the Womanizer is suction-based. Gently, of course, no need to panic about the clits: it’s not a mega dust-catcher ready to depressurise your pussy. But you can feel a small current of air, and if you place a hair in front of the device’s head, the hair moves on its own.
Third thing: apparently, these aren’t vibrations, but pulsations. I say “apparently” because I’m not sure I can tell the difference. In any case, they aren’t Fun Factory Stronic-style pulsations, nor a “pulsation mode” on a classic vibrator.
Using the Womanizer W100
To use the Womanizer, you simply need to hold it still, with its tip on the clit. No effort, no wrist cramp or numb fingers; the vibrations aren’t felt in the handle of the sex toy.
The sensations
As promised, the sensations are very different from those provided by a classic vibrator, whether “ordinary” or ultra-powerful.
On me, it doesn’t “work” every time: it depends on my position. Whatever my posture, the stimulation has an effect… But while I consistently get an orgasm in no time when I’m standing up, when I’m lying down I don’t always manage to come with the Womanizer.
The cause? The device targets the clitoris very precisely by enveloping it, but to trigger an orgasm, I sometimes need the area right above my clit to be stimulated as well…. In some positions, this area isn’t stimulated by the Womanizer, either directly or indirectly, and I often stay on the edge of orgasm without reaching it, which is quite frustrating. Whereas an “ordinary” ultra-powerful vibrator also deals with the area around the clitoris.
But when it “works” (especially standing up, it “works” every time), the sensations are definitely worth the detour. Nothing comparable with any other known sex toy.
The sensations are intense. They come quite close to that moment during a cunnilingus when you feel you’re about to climax. It’s not identical to a cunnilingus, but it comes closer to it than the LELO Ora (the famous “cunnilingus simulator”).
The excitement builds up gradually but very quickly, then stays close to its peak, and that all the way to orgasm.
You can use the Womanizer for multiple orgasms in a row and start again almost at will, without feeling any irritation or numbness at the clit… That’s a plus compared to classic ultra-powerful vibrators, which tend to anaesthetise the pussy temporarily after a few successive uses.

Noise level
The Womanizer W100 is quieter than the Fairy and the other ultra-powerful vibrators of the same kind… As long as you keep it in place on the clit, the noise level remains quite reasonable.
On the other hand, if you have the misfortune to “lift it off” a bit, the suction makes a horrible farting noise. Not enough to alert the neighbours, the sound isn’t that loud, but it’s so-so as far as sexy atmosphere goes…
Conclusion on the Womanizer W100
The Womanizer provides very different sensations from what any other sex toy offers.
It is undeniably very effective (apart from in certain positions for me) and the effect in question is both surprising and extremely pleasant.
In short, it is definitely worth the detour, and I strongly recommend it to you (even if you wonder what might have been going on in the head of the designer who created it… Is he some sort of goblin for whom “shiny thing” is synonymous with beauty?).
As for me, I think I still prefer a high-quality “classic” ultra-powerful vibrator, such as the Fairy Turbo (Womanizer fans may grumble, but my favourite vibrators don’t let themselves be dethroned so easily…). But I’m glad I discovered the Womanizer, because this one allows me to get new sensations that no other sex toy provides.
