The packaging shows a man wearing the Deuce on one side. On the other, it lists the harness’s features.
It’s a cardboard box, nothing out of the ordinary there. Let’s open it.
Inside are the Deuce harness, its storage pouch and a wash bag so you can machine-wash it without damaging it.
It’s rather nice that they’ve included these two accessories, and the same care goes into all of SpareParts’ harnesses, including the Joque, the Bella, the Sasha and the Tomboi.
Using the SpareParts Deuce harness with a penis
The Deuce has two rings. The lower one, or “C-ring”, is where the penis goes. The upper one, or “O-ring”, can hold a dildo with a flared base.
And if the person wearing the harness doesn’t want to use their penis, they can also tuck it safely away in a pocket designed for the purpose.
Using the SpareParts Deuce harness without a penis
It’s also possible, if you don’t have a penis, to put a second dildo in the lower ring.
The brand didn’t design it for this purpose, but this second sex toy stays fairly securely in place, provided it has a wide enough base to give it stable support. How easy it is to handle and the angle of its erection depend greatly on the shape and weight of its base.
Texture and materials
The fabric composition is listed as 77% nylon and 23% spandex.
In practice, it’s a swimwear-like fabric: stretchy and comfortable, fairly thick but not too warm. It’s the same type of fabric used for the Joque and Tomboi harnesses from the same brand.
The harness straps are slightly stretchy and comfortable.
Putting on and adjusting the harness
Putting on the harness couldn’t be simpler: just slip your legs through the straps, then fasten the Velcro around your waist.
The straps that go behind the thighs, along with two small straps around the waist, are adjustable, so you can get a precise fit.
Comfort and effectiveness of the SpareParts Deuce harness
As the Deuce is a harness for men, he was the one who wore it (although I acted as a two-penised mutant guinea pig for the photos illustrating this article). He then shared his thoughts with me.
The harness is ultra-comfortable. It’s easy to adjust properly, and once it’s in place, you feel comfortable wearing it. When erect, the penis sits in the harness’s “C-ring”, while when it’s not hard, it can tuck itself away quite happily in the little pouch at the front of the harness.
This pocket should also come in handy when paired with a chastity cage, as its shape seems spot on for the job. That said, we haven’t tried it (yet).
The sex toy stays firmly in place, it doesn’t “float” around, and the person wearing the harness can easily control its movements: it’s like an extension of the body.
As for double penetration, the distance between the harness’s two openings and the angle between the penis and the dildo are perfectly suited to it. Nothing like the Duo Vibe Rianne S, which was meant to achieve the same thing but turned out to be a complete disaster.
Conclusion on the SpareParts Deuce harness
The good points:
- The Deuce is an effective and comfortable harness for enjoying double penetration as a couple.
- By allowing a man to penetrate without necessarily having an erection, it means that male orgasm doesn’t have to be associated with the end of sex, and can offer an alternative for men with erectile problems.
- Paired with a chastity cage, it can be a fun accessory for playing with arousal and frustration.
The bad points:
- No real drawbacks, apart from the price, which is fairly high (nearly 160 euros).
