A new challenge is emerging for sex toys: mimicking a cunni. Or at least, coming close to it. To this end, the methods tried so far are varied: a wheel fitted with a multitude of tongues for the Sqweel, vibrations and a little spinning nub for the Ora by Lelo, suction and pulsations for the Womanizer and the Satisfyer, sonic pulsations for the Sona by Lelo… With the Doña clitoral stimulator, the shop Passage du Désir takes up the challenge.
The Doña is a rather particular vibrator, fitted with a little tongue that performs rapid up-and-down movements. It doesn’t claim to replicate the sensations of cunnilingus exactly, but promises a new type of stimulation. That’s why I was eager to try it out.
Here’s our review of the Doña clitoral stimulator from Passage du Désir.
Sex toy packaging
The Doña is packaged in a thick cardboard box, padded with foam, with a fairly understated look. The packaging seems sturdy enough to use as a storage case. However, it’s a pity that no less bulky case is included.
Look of the Doña clitoral stimulator
Purple in colour, with its wide suction-cup-shaped tip and its dangling tongue, the Doña is a strange alien.
Its look, which could evoke a friendly cartoon alien, doesn’t necessarily inspire sexiness, but on the other hand, imagining a sex toy that sticks out its tongue while still keeping it classy must not be an easy feat.
Texture and materials
The Doña’s coating is entirely made of silicone, a body-safe material.
Power
The Doña is rechargeable, thanks to a cable that, in the manner of Fun Factory’s Click & Charge or the Satisfyer charger, attaches magnetically to two metal bumps located at the base of the sex toy. On the other end, this cable plugs into a USB port. The stated battery life is two hours: I didn’t time it, but this estimate seems realistic to me.
It’s 100% waterproof: use it in the shower, in the bath, or simply clean it without any special precautions – it’s safe either way.

Controls and modes
The Doña has two buttons: a big one, which allows you to turn it on and off, and a small one, which lets you navigate between the six intensity levels.
Once the sixth intensity level is reached, if you want more, you press instinctively… and you drop to the fifth, the fourth, and so on, all the way down to the lowest level before the power starts increasing again (a bit like with the Satisfyer or the Womanizer 2Go).
It’s always better than going from the maximum level straight to zero, but in my opinion, it’s not ideal. To be sure you’re on the highest intensity level, there’s only one solution: count the number of times you’ve pressed the button. Two separate buttons for adjusting the power would probably have been preferable.
How the Doña clitoral stimulator works
While the ten tongues of the Sqweel, spinning, tirelessly strike the clitoris in the same direction, the little spinning nub of the Ora makes circles while vibrating, the Womanizer sucks with pulsations and the Sona by Lelo emits its sonic pulsations, the Doña’s single little tongue behaves like a genuine miniature tongue that would be lapping up something really good. It performs rapid up-and-down movements while the sex toy vibrates.

Effectiveness
The Doña clitoral stimulator is a sex toy that uses up lubricant: its fluttering tongue rubs a lot, so it’s best not to skimp on lubrication, or you’ll irritate yourself.
By parting my labia to press the toy’s mouth against me, I manage fairly easily to find an angle where the Doña’s tongue reaches my clit and stays in contact with it during its movement. That’s already a good point: despite its alien airs, this vibrator has genuinely been designed for humans – and alas, that’s far from the case with all sex toys.
Verdict: The sensations are indeed different, and I manage to reach orgasm with this sex toy without too much difficulty. However, I’m not entirely won over.
From left to right: the Doña, the Womanizer W100 (Tatoo edition), Lelo’s Ina 2, Fun Factory’s Lady Bi, the Tantus Max O2 and the Tokidoki x Lovehoney unicorn vibrator disguised as an Orgasmatron Motörhead.
What do you mean, even though I reached orgasm, I’m still being picky? An orgasm is generally nice, and using the Doña clitoral stimulator is pleasant.
But some orgasms are more memorable than others, and with the Doña, it’s neither particularly fast nor particularly intense. And if I have other vibrators, like the Magic Wand or the Sona Cruise nearby, I’ll quickly want to ditch this sex toy in favour of one of them. I suppose it depends on personal tastes, but the type of sensations it provides doesn’t match my preferences.
Conclusion on the Doña clitoral stimulator
The good points:
- The concept is original, and the sensations are genuinely different, offering a new way to reach orgasm. In short, it does what it claims to do.
- Overall, the quality is quite good: it’s made of silicone, rechargeable, and waterproof.
The bad points:
- For my part, even though I do reach orgasm using it, I’m not a fan of the sensations it provides.
- No storage accessory is included.
